Nuria's Dance Academy was established in 1985, providing dance instruction and creative space for the Siskiyou County community.

The Academy provides instruction in Classical Ballet, Flamenco, Irish Step Dance, Tap & Jazz, as well as Creative & Gateway course, and dance workshops.

The Owner-Director, Instructor & Choreographer for the Academy is Nuria D. Llovet. (click for biography)

The goal of the academy is to provide a safe and clean environment for the physical, mental, and emotional development of all our students.

While being trained in dance and music forms, our students also learn self-discipline, time management, and teamwork skills.

Students are welcome with a large Mediterranean style patio surrounded by a white iron gate.

Inside is a classical dance studio equipped with wooden flooring, practice barre, and floor to ceiling mirrors.

The large open windows allow plenty of natural light and exquisite views of the Eddy mountain range.

Nuria's Dance Academy offers an Outreach Program that provides performances for community events, fund raisers, etc.

Nuria was born in Barcelona, Spain.

Her dance experience began at the age of 8 with her first ballet class and then her introduction to flamenco at age 12.

She brought her dance expertise to Siskiyou County in 1978 and has assisted in the C.O.S. Performing Arts Camp as an Instructor of Irish Step Dance and Ballet from 1989 through 2001.
